La Moresca is a family operated business that originates in Guadalajara, Mexico. Our involvement in this project was to coordinate the design with another firm located in Guadalajara, general contractor services and project management. One of the main goals in the design was to generate an open floor plan that is surrounded by glass with 180 degree views. The glass facade that looks to the street opens up by sliding the tempered glass fixtures into the walls. The architectural design is proposed in a modern rustic style where ageless materials are used in modern vocabulary. The material finishes used in the project are: 2” x 6” clay bricks painted in three color tones, green-brown wood planks, natural oak wood, cantera stone, Italian ceramic tile, parota wood and black marble. The kitchen includes around thirty commercial kitchen equipment.
