Delisse is a pastry shop where they specialize in exploring and creating desserts with unique forms, colors and tastes. The studio participation consisted in: concept, preliminary design, construction, interior design, project management and construction. The concept for the interior design was to reinterpret a French traditional pastry shop. The design employs materials as visual guides to frame different areas of the pastry shop. The bar area is framed by an alternating black and white floor tiles placed in 45-degree angle. We designed and fabricated a screen wall with a strong geometric pattern inspired by art deco. The screen wall helps to divide the lounge area with the rest to the tables.

The framed mirrors have 2-inch bezel and the wooden frames are washed in walnut tint. The lighting for the design is mainly indirect with wall lamps in between the mirrors. The finish materials used for the project: Carrara marble,2” x 6” white tile, purple wallpaper, natural pine wood, white painted wood and 3/4” steel pipes to frame shelves in counter bar.
